Super Sedan racer Phil Gardiner and Super Street competitor Anthony Begley are teaming up to go Top Doorslammer racing.
The pair purchased the VS Commodore Ute Top Doorslammer of Lindsay Murray to go racing in and have since been going throughout the car to freshen everything up and replace necessary items to bring it up to near-new spec. The ute is a suitable choice for both Gardiner and Begley, Gardiner currently races a nitrous-assisted Commodore running 8.5sec. while Begley has an 11sec. Holden one-tonner. Begley says that Gardiner will start off driving before he hops into the seat with the two trading places in the PSI-supercharged beast which should be ready by next season. |
