Perth Motorplex debutant Curt White from Montana impressed the crowd with a no nonsense series of three bracket like runs in the J60 jet engine powered Gravity Storm with ETs of 5.69, 5.69 and 5.68. 
Regular visitor to Australia Chuck Haynes saved the best for last with a solid 5.20 at a whopping speed in excess of 494kmh (307mph) in Volcano.
Shane Kosteszyn unfortunately damaged his awesome Ford Thunderbird while competing in Pro Auto Performance Super Comp, narrowly missing fellow B/Gas racer Allen Puglia before slamming heavily into the concrete safety barrier. Kosteszyn was okay apart from some heavy bruising.
