The much anticipated ANDRA Group One Championship Calendar for the 2007/2008 season was released earlier in the week.
Commencing on August 31st, with the opening rounds at Western Sydney International Dragway, the schedule will deliver 40 ANDRA Group One Championship rounds in 12 events at three world class venues, winding up at Willowbank Raceway on June 6-8, 2008. The East Coast Nationals (September 2007), the Australian Nationals (September 2007), the Summernationals (February 2008) an d the Winternationals (June 2007) will showcase all six ANDRA Group One categories from the fiery thunder of the four second Top Fuel Dragsters, to the precision of Pro Stock on two wheels and four. Australia's quickest and fastest V8 sedans, the 390 kilometre per hour Top Doorslammers and the fearsome Top Bikes will make their traditional western swings with Top Fuel and Top Alcohol appearing separately in Perth mid season. The Tin Top Titles is the must see sedan event at Willowbank in April 2006, with another nitro fix at Western Sydney a week later with the Nitro Champs. The 2007/2008 ANDRA Group One Championship season has something for every drag racing fan - and those who haven't yet experienced Australia's fastest motor sport.
