Head Shave for Cancer - 2008/02/08 07:25 Morning all,

Next month on the 11th March our work is having a "me no hair" day.

This is to raise money for the Cancer Council of WA.
BHP Billiton will match all donations $ for $ as well so every donation is actually worth double.

I figured that since I laugh and pull the piss out of everyone who is going bald or bald this is an ideal opportunity to put myself up to shave my head bald.

I may even don a 'rug' if one come available for the Funny car meeting a couple of weeks after that as well.

What I'm asking is for those who can spare a few dollars to email me (dsgreen@southwest.com.au)or see me at the Westernationals/WASSMA meeting and donate to this cause. You wil get a receipt if required and all donations over $2 are tax deductable. The going rate seems to be $10 but any amount is great

Although I personally don't know anyone going through a family member with cancer I know it can be quite distressing and hard for the family and person concerned. Every bit counts.

The record for our company is $2100 (before the matched giving) and I want to smash that if possible.
So far I'm up to $1200, but I will be chasing people at the Westernats.
Many thanks to a certain Top Fuel racer from WA that donated to the cause as well.
As well, as promised you will all have a special treat with Jim Read promising to send a rug home with Martin Stamatis for me to wear. A part of the deal is to have my piccy taken and forwarded to Dragster for publication, which is where Luke's handiwork will come in play.
Remember if I can publically embarass myself for a good cause please donate if possible.
