351 C info - 2008/03/17 17:50 I've just picked up a standard bore Cleveland block and I'm interested if any Ford nuts out there can tell me what the stamping means and age of block.

I think the D means 351, the O is 1970 not sure about anything else.

Re:351 C info - 2008/04/03 20:28 Frank, Googly Bear is right, it came out of a GT Falcon as the engine and chassis numbers matched on the Fords , and man if it's standard bore you have done well ... and if the block wall is the same thickness as the sump rail then make sure you hide it from Wazowski
